One element of our long-term vision at Four Ponds Financial Planning has been to reach a level of success that allows us to provide regular philanthropic support to local and regional nonprofits that align with our values.
We took a step toward that goal this week with the firm's debut as a corporate sponsor of CAI, the local NPR station for the Cape, Coast and Islands.
Our support for the Woods Hole-based National Public Radio affiliate is highlighted in 15-second spots broadcast on CAI and in a digital ads appearing on the station's website: capeandislands.org.
The radio spots highlight our range of financial planning and investment services, including our commitment to sustainable investing that incorporates environmental, social and governance criteria.
While our sponsorship of CAI provides good exposure for Four Ponds, it also demonstrates my own belief in the importance of the robust local journalism practiced by the station. As a former Cape-based journalist myself, I believe the value of CAI's news coverage is priceless to the Cape and islands community.
Our 15-second radio spots are scheduled to air nine times weekly on alternating days over the next few months.
If your hear one of them or see our digital ad on the CAI web site, let us know what you think.
